Second Volume of Consumer Choice in Historical Archaeology to be Published

A chapter written by Morgan Wampler will be included in the second volume of Suzanne M. Spencer-Wood’s seminal book Consumer Choice in Historical Archaeology. The first volume was published in 1987 and remains one of the most widely cited publications in historical archaeology. Morgan’s chapter is in underwater archaeology and compares the assemblage from the wreck a late-1700s trade vessel that she excavated to that of the Spanish presidio that it supplied.
