What You’ll Do at Gray & Pape
As an Archaeologist 3, you will
- Supervise archaeological fieldwork and research under the direction of a Principal Investigator;
- Complete literature reviews, desktop assessments, and cultural resources due diligences;
- Coordinate with the Principal Investigator and Logistics Coordinator on fieldwork planning (e.g., hotel, per diem, and vehicle rental) and schedule;
- Conduct Phase I, II, and III archaeological fieldwork;
- Supervise seasonal field technicians and organize and submit all associated field and administrative paperwork;
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports under the supervision of a Principal Investigator; and
- Identify and catalog precontact cultural material on an as-needed basis.
