Land Use and Architecture on Islesboro, Maine

Patrick O’Bannon, Gray & Pape’s Northeast Regional Manager, presented the keynote address to the Islesboro Historical Society in Islesboro Maine in July. The address: “Neighbors and Fences: Land, Conflict, and Community on a Maine Island” draws upon a remarkable collection of 19 depositions associated with a 1790s court case. Dr. O’Bannon is a board member of the Islesboro Historical Society. This presentation is part of a larger project examining land use and architecture on the island.
