Quincy Historic Properties Survey Update

In 2009, Gray & Pape completed a historic properties survey for the City of Quincy Planning Department. The purpose of this survey was to continue a comprehensive assessment, begun in 1986, to document the historic and architectural resources within the City Center District, signified by the Granite Trust Company Building. Gray & Pape architectural historians carried out extensive archival and documentary research in order to identify historic resources. The final product was a comprehensive report that included a street index of inventoried properties, a list of National Register of Historic Places recommendations, and suggestions for future research and planning that can be used by the City of Quincy as a valuable planning tool for years to come.
