Gray & Pape in the Field with SCRAP

Last week, Nate Scholl of Gray & Pape’s Rhode Island’s office participated in an excavation within the Pillsbury State Park that is being investigated by New Hampshire State Archaeologist Mark Doberalski, SCRAP Director, and a team of SCRAP volunteers. The site is a Native American site that may span the Pre- and Post- Contact periods. For more information about the site and SCRAPS work see their video presentation- https://buff.ly/39dAc0F . Nate joined the crew for the weekend and helped with analyzing the site’s stratigraphic profile and geological history. The wind was biting, but the digging was excellent!
