Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks on the World Heritage List

On Tuesday, 19 September 2023, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee voted to inscribe the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks on the World Heritage List. The process for getting the Earthworks listed was long and complex. Over the course of many years, Kevin Pape was a longtime partner to the Ohio History Connection, the National Parks Service, and the Shawnee Tribe and he provided significant expertise in helping to keep the project moving. Gray & Pape is thrilled to see that the listing is now final, and we are proud of all of the work that Kevin poured into the project. Congratulations to the whole team!
