Welcome, Cyndi Goode we are so excited to have you join our team as a Senior Principal Investigator in our Mid-Atlantic office!
Cyndi Goode has a Ph.D. in Anthropology and M.A. in Public Anthropology from the American University in Washington, D.C. and a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Geology from the College of William & Mary. Her dissertation focused on the material culture of enslaved workers in the Great Dismal Swamp, VA. She has been a cultural resource management professional in Virginia for almost 20 years and specializes in Civil War archaeology and laboratory management. She is a proficient metal detectorist and has worked on projects at numerous Civil War battlefields and camp sites across the region. Cyndi spends most of her free time discussing archaeology while also enjoying Pilates, ballet and modern dance, and gardening.
