Welcome, Steph Miller we are thrilled to have you join our team as an Archaeologist III at our Cincinnati office!
Steph Miller comes to us from their current role as adjunct faculty in Anthropology at the University of Cincinnati. Steph is completing a Ph.D. through the University of California, Riverside where they received an M.A. in Anthropology. In addition, Steph has a B.A. in Art History from the University of Cincinnati, with a focus on Ancient Maya Art & Architecture, followed by a Field Certification in Maya Archaeology & Epigraphy from Harvard University. Steph’s academic interests include Mesoamerican Archaeology (Maya Focus), Household Archaeology, Landscape Archaeology, Archaeology of Space and Place; State Formation, Social Stratification, and Ancient Economy; Ancient Road Systems, Trade Networks, and Rural-Urban Relations; Mesoamerican and Maya Iconography; Historical Development of Archaeological Theory; Marxist, Feminist, and Queer Theories. Steph has written and presented many publications as well as taught at numerous institutions during the last 15 years.
