We are excited to announce that Joe Blondino has joined the Gray & Pape team as an Archaeologist 3 working out of the Richmond, Virginia office!
A native of central Virginia, Joe brings with him over 20 years of experience doing archaeology in the Middle Atlantic region on sites ranging from deeply buried Paleoindian camps to Civil War battlefields. He is particularly interested in applying his knowledge of geology and soils to understanding archaeological landscapes and the reasons why particular locations were selected for occupation. When not in the field or office, Joe can usually still be found outdoors tending to his gardens and chickens, hiking, or canoeing on the rivers of eastern Virginia.
